
Vidya Sri (she/they) is an Equity, Diversity, Inclusion Consultant with a combined fifteen years of teaching, workshop facilitation, and community development experience. She holds a Master of Education in Adult Education and Community Development from the University of Toronto with specializations in Workplace Learning and Social Change, and South Asian Studies.
Vidya has successfully delivered numerous workshops under the umbrella of Diversity-Equity-Inclusion, Mental Health Awareness, and 2SLGBTQIA+ awareness for community members at Queen’s University, University of Toronto, GoodLife Fitness, GoodLife4Kids Foundation, and Toronto Centre of Learning and Development (CL&D). Through her work at CL&D, she helped to build the first online Global Citizen Social Justice Course, framed around multifaceted, and intersectional lenses of: social justice, anti-oppression, and community empowerment.
Vidya’s work and publications focus on the transformational power of embodiment, reflexive storytelling, and collaborative arts-based programs in building stronger communities. She is passionate about breaking down intersectional barriers and creating inclusive educational opportunities for diverse communities to learn, grow, share, and thrive.
