Most importantly this management style drives inclusiveness. High performing teams need to feel that as individuals (and as a team), their opinions are important and that what they share is valued. When people feel like they\u2019re being listened to, they participate. Participation leads to new ideas, new information, a reduction in errors and omissions, more innovative and creative ways of doing business, and overall increased engagement. Higher engagement leads to less employee turnover which reduces costs and disruption on your team and fosters an inclusive environment. It also increases your brand as a leader to attract talent from within your organization.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fb62f83 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"fb62f83\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Improved Strategies, New Customers and Financial Results<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-856976a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"856976a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Diversity on my team enabled all of us to learn more about different cultures, ethnicities, demographics, family dynamics and values so that we could work better together, support each-other better and celebrate together.\u00a0 It also created a learning environment that enabled us to find new markets of customers and improve products and services to our current customers.\u00a0 With better insight, we created better strategies and made more informed decisions on product types and services, and the timing for our products and services.\u00a0 For example, we implemented new promotions and products to celebrate Diwali, Kwanza, and Hanukah as opposed to just Christmas during our Q4 promotion planning.\u00a0 Another example of strategy improvement was better product placement based on the style of clothing to better reflect the ethnicities surrounding different store locations which led to better sales, profit and stronger community ties.\u00a0 My results are not unique as there are multiple published financial benefits of D&amp;I by several top research companies (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mckinsey.com\/business-functions\/organization\/our-insights\/why-diversity-matters\">McKinsey<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pwc.blogs.com\/ceoinsights\/2015\/06\/five-reasons-why-diversity-and-inclusion-matter.html\">PwC<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.deloitte.com\/content\/dam\/insights\/us\/articles\/4209_Diversity-and-inclusion-revolution\/DI_Diversity-and-inclusion-revolution.pdf\">Deloitte<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bcg.com\/en-us\/publications\/2018\/how-diverse-leadership-teams-boost-innovation.aspx\">BCG<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/joshbersin.com\/2015\/12\/why-diversity-and-inclusion-will-be-a-top-priority-for-2016\/\">Josh Bersin<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/hbr.org\/2013\/12\/how-diversity-can-drive-innovation\">HBR<\/a> and several others).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-f3612ad elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"f3612ad\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-2c9827a\" data-id=\"2c9827a\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Performance Recognition and Growth<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bdf6e13 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bdf6e13\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>My inclusive leadership also fostered my team\u2019s consistent ability to achieve the most performance-based promotions, maintain low employee turnover rates, highest engagement scores and most consistent business KPI\u2019s and business forecast accuracy.\u00a0 I was also voted the most supportive leader by not only my direct reports but by the entire division of business partners as a result of my inclusive leadership style. \u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-a271b04 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"a271b04\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-2ee3039\" data-id=\"2ee3039\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6e02a39 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6e02a39\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Fostered Collaboration<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-eaf421d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"eaf421d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>To build my teams from the inside out, I used our diversity to learn and create connections for long lasting partnerships and friendships.\u00a0 We had great team lunches where we shared our life stories, connected outside of the office socially, leaned on each-other during long days at the office, supported each-other during tough days, took team coffee orders and much more.\u00a0 This created a sense of community, identified everyone\u2019s strengths and areas of expertise and most importantly built trust and understanding.\u00a0 Trust always fosters better collaboration and creativity across teams. In order for our organizations to remain competitive and grow, innovation and creativity is crucial.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-e714562 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"e714562\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-7ed6d68\" data-id=\"7ed6d68\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-115c1b1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"115c1b1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Build a Corporate Brand<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-313338b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"313338b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Think of your favourite product and service companies;
